Hudson House Is Finally Open in Southlake, and I Have Been Counting Down
The Dallas-area favorite I have been raving about for the past year has officially arrived at Park Village.

Okay, Southlake. This is the opening I have been waiting for.
Hudson House is officially open at Park Village, and I cannot even pretend to be casual about it. I have been counting down ever since I learned it was coming to Southlake, and now that it is finally here, I am already planning my first visit. Honestly, I am pretty sure this will be my birthday spot.
This one feels especially exciting because it represents exactly the kind of growth I have hoped to see in Southlake since we moved to the area about six years ago.
The Kind of Restaurant I Had Been Hoping For
When we first moved here, Southlake already had plenty of dependable places to eat. But I often found myself wishing we had more of the distinctive, destination-worthy restaurants I loved visiting in Dallas.
Not necessarily restaurants that felt overly formal or unapproachable. I wanted places with personality. Beautiful spaces with a point of view. Restaurants where the atmosphere, the food, and the entire experience felt intentional.
Hudson House is exactly that.
It feels polished without feeling stuffy. It is classy and beautiful, but it is also warm, comfortable, and completely down to earth. It has that timeless East Coast neighborhood restaurant feeling where you could celebrate something special, meet a friend for lunch, have oysters and martinis on the patio, or simply stop in because you are craving an incredible meal.

The First Time I Tried Hudson House
About a year ago, I visited Hudson House in Dallas with one of my dearest friends, and I immediately fell in love with it.
The atmosphere was beautiful. The patio was gorgeous. The whole restaurant had this effortlessly elevated energy that still felt relaxed and welcoming.
And then there was the food.
I ordered the fish tacos, and they were incredible. Hudson House is also known for its oysters, raw bar, and famously ice-cold martinis, so it has the perfect mix of coastal, classic, and fun.
It was one of those restaurants I kept talking about afterward. I raved about it so much that when I discovered Hudson House was taking over the former RA Sushi space in Southlake, I was literally ecstatic.

What You Can Find on the Southlake Menu
The Southlake menu includes Hudson House favorites such as East Coast oysters, sushi and raw-bar selections, fish tacos, lobster rolls, its well-known cheeseburger, salads, seafood entrées, cocktails, and weekend brunch.
My first repeat order will probably have to be the fish tacos because I have been thinking about them since that Dallas visit. But oysters and one of those freezing-cold martinis on the patio sound like a pretty perfect Southlake evening too.
Why This Opening Feels So Exciting
Hudson House is not just another place to grab dinner. It is the kind of restaurant that adds something to the entire experience of living in Southlake.
Soon, Maman will be nearby too. You will be able to meet someone for coffee, have lunch or dinner at Hudson House, shop, and spend the afternoon walking around Park Village and nearby Southlake Town Square.
Southlake is truly outdoing itself lately, and I am living for it.
One of my favorite parts of real estate is helping people understand what it actually feels like to live in an area. A home is important, of course, but loving where you live is about so much more than the house itself.
It is where you meet your friends for lunch. Where you celebrate birthdays. Where you take your family when they visit. Where ordinary afternoons turn into the memories you end up keeping forever.
That part of real estate absolutely lights me up.
I love being able to tell someone, “If you move here, this is where you can go. This is what your Saturday could look like. These are the places where your life will happen.”
Hudson House is going to be one of those places for Southlake, and I could not be more excited that it is finally here.
